Welcome To Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Artificial intelligence (AI) is wide-ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. Machine learning focuses on the development of computer programs that can access data and use it learn for themselves.

Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) is established in the year 2020.

The current intake of UG program is 60. The main focus of the department is to produce graduates with the expertise in Machine Learning technology, and dept has adopted outcome based education to help students to achieve this goal. The college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The department provides numerous opportunities to students to interact with Industry Professionals and hone up their skills. This enables students to analyze real life problems and develop solutions for the same.

The department has qualified, experienced & committed teaching faculty members with various specializations. Faculties with Ph.D. degree from premier institutes, such as IIT, and those who are pursuing Ph.D. provide qualitative industry level education.

The dept encourages and adopts the approach of open book exams so as to harness the critical thinking power and problem solving approach among students.

India is currently ranked 3rd in the world in high quality research publications and are pushing to be the pole position. With more investments and initiatives set to be launched for this field, the possibilities seem limitless and it is safe to say, the future is here and it is AI & ML.

Head Of The Department Desk

Dr. Ram P Rustagi

Professor & Head

B.E, M.Tech, Ph.D

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning offers B.E program. The dept formally was inaugurated on Oct 12, 2021. The dept can boast of most experienced faculty on the average per faculty. The department has embraced Open Book Exams for its internal tests as recommended by AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2021.
The department emphasises on team based assignment conduction to enable students to interact among themselves and learn the skills of working together inculcating team spirits. To empower the students with multi-dimensional skills, department conducts guest lectures by well known academia and industry persons. These lectures provide students the industry perspective and empowers them to think beyond regular course curriculum and possibly instill in them the concept to start on entrepreneurial journey.

The dept continues to engage with industry in many ways. We do provide consultancy as well sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The consultancy mechanism provides an opportunity to faculty to work on current real life situations that required efficient technology solutions. The MoUs would enable our faculty and students to collaborate with industry to develop prototypes and engage in research to find practical workable solutions.
